BradyBox Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026 · 한국어
This policy explains what information the BradyBox app for Samsung TVs collects, why, and how it is handled. BradyBox is operated by Jack Reinhart ("BradyBox", "we", "us").
The current version of the app is a test version. It is used to check that BradyBox can open other streaming apps on the TV correctly.
What we collect
When you use the app, it sends the following to our server:
- Device information: app version, TV model and model code, firmware and Tizen version, Smart Hub country, the TV's unique device ID, browser version and screen size.
- App activity in BradyBox: when the app starts and how the previous session ended, which test or option you chose, whether the TV opened the selected app, when BradyBox moved to the background and came back, when it was closed, and any errors inside BradyBox.
- Technical details added to each record: the TV's clock time, a session number, the time our server received the record, and the TV's IP address.
What we do not collect
- Anything inside other apps opened from BradyBox, such as ESPN or Hulu, including what you watch.
- The list of apps installed on your TV.
- Account details, logins, passwords or anything you type.
- Your name, email address, phone number or payment details.
Why we collect it
We use this information only to test and improve BradyBox: to check that it works on different TV models, to find and fix errors, and to see whether other apps open as expected.
We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build profiles of users.
Sharing
We do not share this information with anyone, except:
- our hosting provider, Render, which stores it for us on servers in the United States (Oregon); and
- when required by law.
Other apps
BradyBox can open other apps, such as ESPN or Hulu. Once another app is open, that app's own privacy policy applies. We do not receive any information from those apps.
How long we keep it
There is no fixed retention period. We keep this information while it is needed for testing BradyBox and delete it when it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
You can stop all collection by closing or uninstalling the app.
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about your TV, or to delete it, by emailing jack.reinhart93@gmail.com. Please include your TV model so we can find the records. Depending on where you live, for example in California, you may have further rights under local law. We will respond to such requests as the law requires.
Children
BradyBox is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
